Sean off to first crew change!

Monday, June 30, 2003 ... Sean got back from training last Saturday night, got a call this morning from the company, and left this afternoon for his first tour offshore on his new job! I'm so proud and happy for him, but watching him leave was like going back in time almost 30 years. It brought back memories of all the times I watched his Dad leave to do the same thing, and reminded me of all the worry that came with it. I sat down and had a good cry after he left. I know he'll be fine, but I'm his Mama ... I'm gonna worry anyway!!!

July 16, 2003 - Back from First Hitch!!!

Sean got back just fine, another 18 pounds lighter, with a ton of stories, and a load of facial hair!!! I kinda liked it, but he couldn't wait to shave! Patrick got home from school the day before, so I have all my family back together again for a short time. I plan to enjoy every minute!
